but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control [gal 5:22]

i find it interesting that the bible says FRUIT and not FRUITS. does it mean that we're supposed to be growing and bearing each of these qualities at the same level of growth, or it is possible that we have one part of the fruit growing while the other part is all gross and rotten?

does your life manifest the fruit of the Spirit? which of these do you currently struggle with in your life?

the ones i struggle with the most right now are long suffering (i want patience God and i want it now). and peace (coz worrying seems to always creep in). and self control (especially when it comes to eating that brownie or that cookie).

Jesus, thank you for allowing your Spirit to grab a hold of my heart. i pray that my heart may be a fertile ground so Your Spirit can bear this fruit in me, so that i can share this fruit to others as well. in Jesus name.
