inspire - joni.

she has been a quadriplegic for 43 years.

she is unable to walk. run. dance. skip.

she cant even use her hands the way we use ours.

this woman has written many books, recorded several albums, and had a movie made about her life. she has preached to crowds of thousands of people, way before joyce meyer was preaching. she was able to spearhead several ministries worldwide to help others see hope in their suffering. and now she is even inspiring others at biola university to help people understand about how to reach out to people that have a disability.

in our day and age, people complain if God doesnt come through for them for a job, for a raise, or for not getting the car they prayed for, etc. she has chosen to praise and help others see the goodness of God despite the storms surrounding her... she keeps it real by sharing her pain, but then like David, chooses to keep on praising God, even though she's walked through the valley of the shadow of death.

while everyone is talking about living out their "plan b's"

this woman is living out her plan a... even if to us, it seems that the circumstances that happened in her life would be our plan z.

God has made her shoulders strong to carry the weight of all that has happened in her life.

through it all, her heart has remained so tender to God and she paints a beautiful picture of what it means to have a life surrendered to her King.

Joni Eareckson Tada - your faith is amazing. your life is a great testimony. thank you for inspiring me to keep on loving Him despite setbacks and unwanted circumstances. thank you for being an example of what it means to have tenacious faith. thank you for being the strong woman that you are. i will be praying for healing for you from cancer.

keep on doing what you've been doing for the past 40 years.

your faith is changing the world.
